Radiam
Three plates turn on one hub — teeth on the outer one — each carrying twelve coloured beads in its housings, over the twelve rays drawn between the hub and the rim. Drag a plate and it turns alone; the other two hold. Rays that would pay light up under the beads while you turn, so a plate is never moved blind, and the dial only cashes them once it comes to rest — hold the alignment under your thumb and it pays there, keep sweeping and it pays nothing. A paid ray is re-fed from outside the rim, and the beads that fly in can land on a ray of their own, so one move can keep paying long after you let go. Every four rays the hub's meter buys a super, and two rays in one move or a chain at x8 buys a bigger one: a CHARGE unzips the whole plate it sits on, a NOVA is wild and takes its colour off the entire dial — and either one, reached by another's wave, goes off in turn.
